This is the details of the available computatoinal Techs:
The Standard Version of AdditiveM DED FDM offers a comprehensive suite of features for both student and professional licenses. It supports simulation at sample-size scales, providing detailed thermomechanical results for process modeling. Users can import and work with G-code file formats, enabling seamless integration with various STL and OBJ CAD systems. The Standard Version employs the Finite Difference Method (FDM) for numerical analysis, ensuring robust and accurate simulations.
While the Standard Version does not include advanced features such as microstructural simulation or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), it provides strong support for process modeling. It supports both the Box Activation Method and the Pseudo-fluid Algorithm for DED simulation.
The Premium Version includes additional modules for a basic code editor (using the AdditiveAM format) for code customization, microstructural simulation and CFD calculations, extending the simulation capabilities to more advanced and high-fidelity analyses.
